firmware-b43-installer software package provides firmware installer for the b43 driver, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer
firmware-b43-installer is installed in your system.
Make ensure the firmware-b43-installer package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep firmware-b43-installer *
You will get with firmware-b43-installer package name, version, architecture and description in a table
